MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE GUIDANCE ON CARES ACT IMPLEMENTATION

The Department of Unemployment Assistance is moving swiftly to implement three new public benefit programs that will expand unemployment eligibility; temporarily increase weekly benefits for all claimants; and allow additional categories of people to claim unemployment benefits.

MASS TALENT CONNECT

Mass Talent Connect is a strategy targeted to serving individuals who have been unemployed for more than six months. Massachusetts, in partnership with Commonwealth Corporation, the Workforce Boards, and One-Stop Career Centers, Higher Education and other appropriate partners will work together to braid our resources to support services for long-term unemployed individuals.

Need a Computer?

The Career Center locations have a self-directed online computer lab that claimants may utilize. Members can use this computer lab to:

  • Open or reopen their claim
  • File for their weekly unemployment benefits
  • Receive a printout of their unemployment benefits.
