IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
CONNECTING ACTIVITIES
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s “Connecting Activities” initiative is an in-school program that is designed for in-school youth that allows students to experience the world of work through internships. The program helps youth see the relationship between what they are learning in school and their career aspirations.

SUBSIDIZED TRAINING AND JOBS
YouthWorks provides summer and year-round subsidized private, public and non-profit jobs to at-risk youth between 14 and 21 years old in the City of Framingham.
To be eligible for the Metro South/West YouthWorks program, you must:
- Live in Framingham
- Be Between the Ages of 14 and 21
- Must Currently Receive Free or Reduced Lunch
